XanthoSTOP FEMS MICRO 2025: Dr. Aleksandra Jelušić, the principal investigator of the XanthoSTOP project, and Dr. Bojana Živanović, the leader of work package WP4, presented the project’s current results at the FEMS MICRO Milan 2025 conference, held in Milan. The results were presented in the form of two posters. During the conference, team members established new connections and exchanged knowledge and experiences with colleagues from around the world.

XanthoSTOP aims to develop an environmentally-friendly alternative to chemical pesticides, commonly used for black rot control, by harnessing beneficial properties of plant-associated bacteria isolated from autochtonous cabbage cv. Futoški.
