Members of the XanthoSTOP team — Aleksandra Jelušić, Sonja Milić Komić, and Bojana Živanović — participated in the XVI International Scientific Agriculture Symposium “AGROSYM 2025,” held from 2–5 October 2025 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At this regional scientific event, the team presented the latest results of the XanthoSTOP project to experts in the field of agriculture. They exchanged ideas with fellow researchers, established new professional connections, and gained valuable insights for advancing their work on the biological control of black rot in cabbage.

Their participation contributed significantly to the visibility and dissemination of the project’s achievements, strengthening collaboration opportunities and supporting the development of sustainable, environmentally friendly plant protection solutions.

XanthoSTOP aims to develop an environmentally-friendly alternative to chemical pesticides, commonly used for black rot control, by harnessing beneficial properties of plant-associated bacteria isolated from autochtonous cabbage cv. Futoški.
